ACE Program

Hello, my name is Cindy Washington, ACE Site Coordinator for LVIS. Our program hours are: M-F 3:30 pm- 6:00 pm daily. ACE is funded by a TEA 21st Century Grant awarded to La Vega ISD. Texas ACE aims to improve academic performance/grades, school attendance, positive behavior, and student engagement by providing students with a safe place to go during non-school hours for extended learning and enrichment activities.

 

Clubs this year include: Cooking, Fundamental to Basketball, Yoga/CPR, Inspirational Rock Paint, Photography, Makey Makey, and Sewing. In the spring of next year, we are looking forward to adding two new clubs: Pod Casting and Electric Drums for our students.
