Welcome to Mrs. Turnbough's class. It is going to be a great year! I will be your math, science and social studies teacher.
My conference time is 12:45-1:30. You may reach me at that time by phone (799-5553)
Here's a little information about myself. I received my teaching degree from Stephen F. Austin. This year starts my 21st year with LaVega I.S.D. and my 11th year at LaVega Intermediate. I am married. My husband and I will celebrate our 34th anniversary this coming New Year's Day. We have two sons. Things I enjoy doing include "critter watching" in my yard. "Critters" that may be seen in my yard include all types of birds (hummingbirds, cardinals, roadrunners, sparrows, finch, etc.) as well as squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, and occasionally owls and a fox. I also enjoy going to antique shops and estate sales.
I am looking forward to our school year together. Together we can make it a great year!!!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please practice multiplication facts with your student every evening. They are the building stones of math. Students who know their mulitplication facts will have an easier time and greater success in math. Thank you.
